DO YOU HAVE A BOOK YOU WANT REVIEWED?
Although we tend to focus on literary fiction, The Compulsive Reader reviews a wide range of genres, including music CD, and also features interviews with authors and musicians. If you would like your book or music to be featured, please send a brief (1-2 paragraph) synopsis, and if we feel that there's a fit, we will contact you directly to let you know where to send a review copy. Our reviews are detailed, honest, specific, and analytic.
DO YOU WANT TO SUBMIT A REVIEW?
We are always looking for detailed and informative reviews of books and music. Note that reviews should be analytical, specific, and quite detailed. Plot summaries or reviews that are little more than promotional blurbs won't be accepted. You retain all copyrights to your work and are free to publish your review or article in other venues as long as it doesn't conflict with our rights while your review remains on our site. By submitting an article, you are verifying that it is your work and you are the legal copyright holder of such work.
Although we are unable to offer monetary compensation for your reviews and articles at this time, we will provide all contributors with a generous author bio including unlimited links. Regular contributors are also featured in the "Who are We" section of our site and are offered a selection of books to review, on approval.
